In the newest Stephanie Plum book, bailbondsman Vinnie Plum is kidnapped and Stephanie, Connie and Lulu must rescue him or raise the ransom money to get him back. Although they are tempted to let the kidnapper keep Vinnie, they realize their jobs are on the line and they depend on Vinnie for their wages. With nutritional reinforcement from Cluck in a Bucket, Tastykakes, and various doughnut shops, they are ready to get the job done. As always they need a lot of support. Help comes from Mooner, Hobbits, and (as always) Morelli and Ranger.
Sizzling Sixteen is a great new installment in the Stephanie Plum series. It’s funny, fast paced, and features many of the characters from past novels.
Plum fans should look for two new books from Janet Evanovich. Wicked Appetite is a new cross over series from Janet Evanovich that features Diesel from the “Between-the-Numbers” books. It will be released September 14, 2010. Janet is continuing the Barnaby series with her daughter, Alex. In a new twist, the first co-written book is a graphic novel entitled Troublemaker that will be released on July 20, 2010. ~Enjoy~
