The Spellmans Strike Again by Lisa Lutz

The newest installment of the Spellman series is a humorous, irreverent, fast-paced book that provides more entertainment than storyline. Private Investigator Izzy Spellman is working on a couple of interesting cases while trying to find some dirt on rival PI Rick Harkey. Strange things are happening at Spellman headquarters and between Izzy’s brother David and his girlfriend. Izzy is once-again being blackmailed by a family member and commits to regular blind dates with aspiring professionals rather than divulge what happened on Prom Night 1994.

Lisa Lutz creates a fast-paced book with a host of quirky characters that is long on humor and short on plot. Fans of previous Spellman books will enjoy the newest installment.
